Silver Solution: Disinfect Your Food

Kansas State, we’re working on being able to disinfect your food. It’s going to require an USDA approval. We’ll get it, it’ll take us a little more time. We keep wiping the stuff out. The point is that if you get say e coli 0157-H7 on your spinach, can you kill it? The answer is yes. And I have actually got data on that individual strain of e coli. Could we kill it? Yes. What level? 5ppm. That’s a million bacteria per millilitre. When you think of it just so you can get this in line 12 bacteria per ml in your blood is about the level that will kill you. 12, not twelve thousand, 12.

And so when we do these in vitro tests and if you look in the new silver solution book and I’m telling you how to read that cause there is a great deal of very important data in that. On page 4, 5, 6 there’s a copy of information that was taken out of the congressional testimony. On those pages it’ll show you a whole list of pathogens. What level we killed them but when you read that and it says 1 part per million or 1.5ppm that’s a level at which we killed a million bacteria per ml not 12.
